GRP Planters

GRP, Glass Reinforced Plastic, can be used for Interior and Exterior projects, it is strong, watertight and light weight. Ideal for roof gardens where access is difficult and weight saving essential.  It won't be damaged by frost and readily accepts different paint finishes.

Tapered Squares

Tapered Square Vases offer a very contemporary look in a modern office or home.

This GRP range has a smooth finish which can be enhanced with metallic paints or Granite effects.

All these sizes can be cut down if required.

Planting Tall Plant Containers

Here is a diagram showing our recommended method for exterior planting of tall plant containers.

Firstly make sure there is adequate drainage in the base. Then place some stone chippings or hydroleca in the bottom with some bricks for ballast.

Now place blocks of polystyrene or polystyrene chips with a little compost up to the planting depth required - usually about 350 mm.  Add more hydroleca for good drainage and bed in a Mona Tank, MT4 or MT6.

Put compost around the tank and about 25 mm on top.  Now place the root ball in position - centralise and straighten the plant.  Add compost around the sides and dress with pebbles if required.

The Mona Tank filler pipe should be just above the top dressing - fill with water and top water for a few weeks until the roots are established.  Check the tank level weekly and fill as required - you may add a liquid feed to the tank as recommended by the manufacturer.
 

Tapered Troughs

These Tapered Troughs are designed to fit on Cabinets or Window ledges inside or out. They have no return lip to interfere with planting and are a cheaper option.  All BS4800 Colours are available as well as spray finishes. Silver and Gun Metal are shown here.

Hanging Baskets

Europlanters has designed two new hanging baskets - a cone shape and a square pyramid. 

Available in any colour.

Figure Vases

New Shape for 2006 the Figure Vases have an unrivalled elegance about them making a statement outside the grandest entrance. There are three sizes available including a desk top version and the option of cutting a unit in half.

These vases may be used either way up as they come with open ends and false bottoms at mid point.

Tall Troughs and Squares

Straight sided "Towers" can be used to great effect in the office or outside on patios roof gardens etc.

These GRP Planters sprayed in Gun Metal could easily be mistaken for steel.  Although three sizes are shown below, we are able to produce any height up to 1000 mm.

This Planter is also available in Galvanised, Stainless or Mild Steel with a powder coat finish.

Cubes

This classic cube design can be used to great effect in the home or outside on patios and roof gardens etc.

They are strong, watertight and light weight.

Available in all colours.

The Babylon Range

These GRP Planters can be used for Interior and Exterior Plant Displays, they are tough and can be finished in any colour.

Metallic and Granite finishes also available - please ask for extra costs.

The Ceramic Range

Launched in 2000, the Ceramic Styled planters provide an alternative to the Babylons but maintain the 'Mediterranean' feel to the plant display.

These units are more stable and offer a larger neck opening for ease of planting as well as being a tough substitute for real ceramic pots.
